Since 1975 Mr Kristján Stefánsson, Supreme Court lawyer, has run his own law firm in downtown Reykjavík. From the beginning he has shared his office with Mr Hilmar Ingimundarson, fellow In 2006 Mr Stefánsson’s son, Stefán Karl Kristjánsson, graduated as a lawyer from the University of Iceland and immediately started working alongside his father. Three years later Mr Stefánsson’s other son, Páll Kristjánsson obtained a law degree and also joined the law firm.

Mr. Stefánsson office has become known as Lögmenn Austurstræti, i.e. the East Street Law Office, although its registered name is Kr.St. Law Firm ehf.

In the beginning of March the firm opened a branch at Egilsstaðir, where Mr. Stefán Bogi Sveinsson. Lawyer works.

The office´s lawyers want to create an environment of comfort where the clients know that they and their cases are being handled in a personal way based on experience and knowledge.

The lawyers at the office are active in a broad field of legal work. They are especially known for their work on criminal cases, child welfare cases, and cases coming under the law of torts and real property law.
